About Us

We are a dedicated to bringing wellness and awareness to people who might not otherwise be able to access them. CTC was born from the urgency created by a society where mass shootings happen multiple times a day and we have increasingly high levels of burnout in critical professions like medicine and education. As healers, we want to bring our skills and knowledge to alleviating these problems. We do this both by using our skills to heal others and by using our knowledge to empower others to learn to heal themselves. We recognize that the key to living in a better society lies in our youth.

We firmly believe that the human body has the power to heal itself, as we have experienced this capacity firsthand. Rather than keeping this knowledge as exclusive to those who have sought it, we believe that sharing this knowledge is of utmost importance to the future of our society and our species.

For these reasons, we are dedicated to helping alleviate our society’s current mental health crisis by bringing access to mental wellness to youth and their parents. We look forward to a society where everyone feels safe and empowered no matter their gender, race, age, or ability.

Programs

Note: Programs 1 and 2 work hand in glove. Wherever possible, we bring education where we bring healing and we bring healing where we educate. This reduces our costs and expands and deepens our reach.

All programs are paid for through donations and grant money. Donations are sought one-by one and through events intended to raise money for the organization and awareness for its causes.

  1. Traditional Chinese Medicine Educationnd through events intended to raise money for the organization and awareness for its causes.

Join our organization’s mission to increase access to integrative healing modalities and empower youth and parents to heal themselves, creating a healthier society beyond the current mental health crisis.

Our organization is dedicated to empowering youth and their parents with healing and knowledge about how to heal themselves. We strive to increase proficiency with and access to integrative healing modalities and to grow the worldwide community of healers.

We believe that healing is not just about bringing healing to youth, but also about sharing our expertise in how to heal ourselves. Our approach aims to not only alleviate the current mental health crisis but also create a generation empowered to heal themselves and each other.

Our society faces numerous challenges, including mass shootings, burnout of public servants, and racial inequality. It is essential to increase trauma awareness and decrease burnout. According to CNBC, over 300,000 public school teachers left their jobs between February 2020 and May 2022. Morning Consult also reports that 1 in 5 healthcare workers quit their job during the COVID-19 pandemic. We can no longer tolerate living in toxic environments where trauma and stress are carried from person to person.

Our organization’s philosophy is that by healing ourselves rather than blaming others, we become empowered self-healers rather than powerless victims. We believe that by empowering youth to learn to heal themselves and solve their mental health issues, we can create a society that will thrive beyond the current crisis.

  1. Delivering Integrated Medicine Modalities

Compassionate Transformation Community is dedicated to bringing integrative medicine modalities to people who are unable to access them due to lack of awareness or affordability. These modalities, including acupuncture and reiki, have been shown to significantly improve health and quality of life for individuals with a range of ailments. In fact, a study found that acupuncture can increase lifespan by 24% (Han et Al 2007)! While 38% of US adults use complementary or integrative medicine, over 60% are not aware of its value or do not have access. Our mission is to bridge this gap by providing education about traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to everyone (program 1) and access to integrative medicine for those who cannot afford it.

We achieve this through community clinics, where we subsidize the cost of acupuncture, reiki, and other integrative modalities for individuals in Southern California. Join us in our efforts to promote healing and increase accessibility to integrative medicine. Contact us today to learn more about our programs and services.
